Water Water Events and Participants

The following Water Water events are taking place beginning March 15, 2003. We hope you will join us in advancing this critical issue, and please spread the word! Please also check the web site for updates and future events.

March 16-23 - Water World
TeleTwinTowers.org presents Water World, a 9 day, 216 hour, multi-media exploration highlighting humanity's connection with water. The world's fresh water supply is running out. Today 50% of Earth's rivers are drying up & polluted to toxicity. 1 in 3 human beings lack access to clean, fresh water. Privatization is on the rise. No water no life. We must change our ways or face a dry future where wars over water plague the planet and only the rich can afford to drink. WATER WORLD is dedicated to water as a human need, a right without which we cannot survive. Coming together for the Water Water festival individual artists & activists seek to change the ways we treat this precious resource and sustain a consciousness of appreciation and celebration. Water World Peace and Fresh Wetness for All! Each day art, music and information fill the storefront windows of Chashama Theater, right in the heart of midtown Manhattan near Times Square.
